"Sure, they can trot out numbers and graphs to "prove" how well the economy is doing, but the numbers don't match what people see in their pay envelopes. And that is the bottom line."

I think that is pissing people off, big time. They see the pols pimping the economic happy talk as just liars. The numbers as just more lies, because they live a different truth.
