Incredible.....you recognize Colbert's routine as being a put-on but no doubt completely suck up W's charge that Kerry was insulting the troops with his flubbed joke....

Bush stated the GOP is trying to destroy America just like the terrorists. He actually said that. It was a gaffe. Democrats chuckled but didn't make a big deal about it. So why is the rightwing pretending Kerry's gaffe was an attack on our troops? Might it have something to do with the fact they have no issues to run on? Or the fact that the Military Times has called for the ouster of Rumsfeld (which really means they want Bush-Cheney gone too)?
