Your observation, that young women in college are all feminists whether they admit it or even realize it, confirms my belief in the value of feminism as part of an ethical framework. I didn't mean to say that. Sorry if it was construed that way. Only that the majority of the ones I knew well enough to generalize about or who appeared in public to discuss such matters, they assumed feminist precepts were simple common sense. It was, in different words, the dominant culture. But, as with all dominant cultures, there were folk/groups who opted out or who were antagonistic.
