re: Siding with all but one Republican were six Democrats Sens. Mark Dayton of Minnesota, Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, and three running for re-election this fall: Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, Bill Nelson of Florida and Ben Nelson of Nebraska.

Sen. Lincoln Chafee, who also is up for re-election, was the only Republican supporter of the troop withdrawal resolution.

Its amazing.......the Dems turned this issue around on them. For weeks now, the GOPers have been toying with the notion of withdrawal, suggesting through leaks that they were softening and in disagreement with Bush. The Dems called them on it. Guess what? Nothing has changed. Surprise, surprise!

Bill Nelson earned a letter from me.

Good! If we don't tell them where we stand, they won't know.
