My recollection was that there were several reasons argued. Then as the case went to the UN it focused in on WMD to get resolution 1444 (since that was what violated the terms of the treaty with Iraq in the 1991 war). I.e. the weapons Saddam was known to have

Then the second time they went back due to Colin Powell's request was the time that he talked about all the mobile chemical labs, yellow cake, etc.

Wasn't that because WMD was the only issue with the traction to get the UNSC on board (though of course it didn't).

Yes, I support the war and hope for a favorable outcome. Most of us bib overall wearin' midwesterners do.
