Nadine, Saddam had zero AL Qaida connections. Zero.
All those stories you heard are bogus.

The "intel" supporting this theory was gotten from Cheney's exile crew who were a notorious band of crooks and liars. Every single claim they ever made has been discredited. They had a huge financial interest in us invading Iraq. Convicted swindler Chalabi was put in charge of Iraqi's oil ministry by Cheney. Halliburton runs the rest of the oilfields. Chalaabi's group are known to be thoroughly corrupt liars.

Zarqawi, Cheney claimed in 2003, had a leg amputated in Baghdad, supposed hosted by Saddam at a local hospital. Reporters went to the hospital and found there was no record Zarqawi was ever there or in Baghdad at all prior to Bush saying "bring it on!" In fact, we now know Zarqawi did not have an amputated leg or even a wounded leg. Cheney's story was total cockypoop. Also cockypoop was the tall tale Cheney told many times on Tv about Mohammed Atta meeting with Iraqis in prague. Atta was in Florida at the time, the FBI proved with credit card receipts.

In other words, the lies flowing out of Cheney's office to mislead us into this war (and a lot more) are legion. Cheney is the biggest liar in White House history. And the scariest part is he may be the real president. He may be more powerful than Bush and impossible to remove from office.

When your hero, lying, F-ing Cheney said "last throes", did he mean "lasting throes", by any chance?

Just want to clarify! ;-)
