"Murtha says we need an exit strategy for Iraq..."

Of course we need an exit strategy and I'm quite sure we have one. One thing is certain, however, you don't tell your enemy what your strategy is and you don't debate it on the Senate floor. It is conditional....not date-certain. A date-certain strategy isn't an exit strategy.....it is "cut-and-run."

Kerry's proposal before the Senate yesterday was insane and many of his own party members agreed by voting it down 86-13.

"If you value your life, isn't it obvious who you would choose to lead your platoon or your country in a time of war?"

It's obvious to me that I want leaders that understand the nature of the conflict we are in and develop strategy accordingly.....not someone who doesn't even seem to understand the basic principles of wartime strategy. I don't think Murtha is using his military background at this time....I think he is basking in his sudden notoriety by pandering to left-wing partisan pimps like yourself.

"In training he was awarded the American Spirit Honor Medal..."

If you really respect John Murtha you will change your screen name.....calling yourself "American Spirit" degrades that medal.
