I do not think an M&A deal is precluded here (as long as deal is held off until end of commercial terms - i.e., 180 days from termination notice) - based more on my thoughts on such deals than that heavily redacted language.

Thanks, Dew, for digging out the non-compete language. As Jon noted, it is not conclusive due to redactions, particularly definitions. Section 14.1.(c) seems to allow a competing product, but prohibits negative ads.

But I don't have enough industry experience, legal knowledge, nor information to know whether Pfizer would be constrained in buying a product that is already on the market.
