Decent response form the market, so far, after receiving Altman's reassuring words, and cutting through the Nokia BS - "...no changes to the existing license agreement were required or requested." Gawd I'm sick of the BS from them!

Thanks Steve! Maybe now, this little bottom is finally in.

PJ certainly has control over Qualcomm. This latest PR release to Nokia's CDMA exit is a far cry from the kindler/gentler Qualcomm of old. (A breath of fresh air IMO.) Let us all hope that this release is the result of solid market position (as I beleve) as opposed to new world 'smack talk'.

Empower all - take no prisoners.

What? Something Nokia allowed as news is not true? Sacre bleu!! Mon dieu. How can zis be? Surely Nokia would never tell a lie.

<"As far as news articles reporting or implying that QUALCOMM's licensing terms resulted in the failure of Nokia to complete its previously announced joint venture with Sanyo," said Altman, "these are simply untrue. The joint venture company was planning to operate under Sanyo's existing CDMA license agreement with QUALCOMM, and no changes to the existing license agreement were required or requested.">

So, whose news items were they? Nokia?
