"Why am I sensing that this whole event is an election year ploy?"

Yah think? It has all the earmarks of those earlier "threats". A bunch of whackos with no resources or ability to pull off their little plots. Like taking the Brooklynn Bridge apart with blow torches...

After all, we tortured a man we knew was mentally ill and treated his "confessions" as real until it became too bizarre to pretend any more. We took trailers built to produce hydrogen and pretended they were bioweapon labs. It is all about lies and pretenses of reality. As I have said before, 1984 was supposed to be a cautionary tale, not a handbook.

I saw one of the conspirator's sister on TV. If he's like her, he couldn't have sucessfully booked travel to Chicago, let alone blown up the Sears Tower. I think it was just a bunch up poor, dead end black Muslim guys in Miami that got roped into an FBI sting.

Time will tell as the details come out, but, I don't think the FBI "prevented the next 9/11" as they seem to be spinning it.
