In 2004 there were 846 US military deaths in Iraq, In 2005 deaths of US military increased to 1,046. That is about a 20% increase not a 25% decrease that you claim. So far this year there has been approximately 345 US military deaths. This is a big drop from the last half of 2005 but just about 8% lower than the first six months of 2005 and there are still 7 days to go in 2006 first half.

Wounded in 2006 have increased somewhat over 2004 figures but are a bit lower than 2005.

We have slightly less troops in country and they are doing significantly less patrolling. So on a hours of exposure basis the troops are at an ever greater risk. Where do you get your figures? From White House fake press releases?
