Yeah, right. A sovereign "democracy" whose airspace can be invaded by a thug who gives only 15 minutes notice to the democratically elected leader before his arrival.

Btw, you got the percentage wrong. The 150K or so US/UK troops make up about 0.6% of the people in Iraq, not 5% ...

Nadine -

I didn't say bullets are not sometimes necessary. I just objected to what Thomas said, which seemed to indicate that the other side uses violence and we don't.

By the way, if you can point to a situation where a democracy was installed by a foreign army, I'd be interested in hearing about it. I'm not sure it's impossible to do it peacefully in this situation, and I'm not sure it's possible to do it using violence.
