It doesnt surprise me that some old scores may be being settled. After all the Shia suffered greatly under the Sunni Baathist rule. Seems to me though, the only way its gonna be brought under control is to either disband ALL militias or force them to be absolved into the National Army. Also, I wonder if its a good idea to allow every Iraqi to have an AK 47 and 30 rounds of ammunition? jdn
