Dunno. I don't know what the setup was or anything. Given the way these things have happened in the past, I am suspicious.

You've got it exactly backward Steve. The Miami "conspirators" wanted $50k FROM the FBI guy posing as an AQ agent, not the other way around. These clowns didn't have $50k!

The boots were the only items delivered, after a meeting in which Mr. Batiste provided shoe sizes, according to the indictment. Mr. Batiste was also given the digital video camera that he used to take pictures of the F.B.I. building."

It's really questionable if ANYTHING would have happened without the FBI.
