That must be because you count all those acres and acres of trees grown for lumber. A forest is an ecosystem, not just rows and rows of trees planted by corporations to be cut down for timber.

You regressives redefine everything - from inflation rates to afforestation numbers, from unemployment statistics to calling the number of soldiers killed in Iraq as "just a number".

And even if - that is a big IF - the forest cover numbers for the US are true, that is not a model that other countries to follow, because to do so would mean that everybody has to exploit and loot everybody else in the world. And that is not possible.
