Yeah, right. And grown-ups are in charge of YOUR party? Let's see what they have done - got us into Iraq, killing thousands of Americans, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, spending hundreds of billions, run up the deficits and increased the national debt by trillions, and when all this is going on with no end in sight, they want to ban flag-burning and gay marriage. How very mature of them!

>>There's truth in the old stereotype: Republicans think Democrats are stupid. Democrats think Republicans are evil.

Grownups know it's not quite that simple. However, I can't say I have confidence that the grownups are in charge of your side of the fence just now. I wish you luck retrieving the party from the Daily Kossack hordes. You'll need it.<<

Nadine -

Thanks.

And good luck with that budget busting bunch of robber barons you've got in power. ;-)

- Allen

Barty Goldwater the founder of modern conservatism would despise the current hypocrites, wimps and liars on the Bushie rightwing.

Goldwater would hate the way they grow government bigger than even LBJ did and grow deficits to the moon with no plan to ever pay them off. He would hate the way they merge rightwing religious wackos and state and try to tell a woman what she can do with her body. He would hate the corruption which has infected the entire rightwing GOP now from Bush all the way down.

Barry would be fighting mad if he saw how they have perverted his vision for small government, accountability and liberty for everyone, even if you're gay or want to get an abortion. Barry's daughter got an abortion and he was 100% supportive.
