Cyber, don't take this personally, but sometimes hypersensitivity to racism is itself a form of racism.

Seeing race in every issue means the observer may be looking at race as more important than the issue itself.

"States rights" was used as a code word for allowing states to have segregation and unjust discrimination against black people. That doesn't mean that there are not or where not legitimate limits to federal powers, and that the feds taking more and more control to themselves is not or was not a problem.

The fact that some racists use a term or believe in an idea doesn't make the term or the idea racist.
