Keep in mind that the British, in spite of doing fairly well in India and later in Malaysia, still *failed* in Iraq.

If Dumbya were occupying India, Gandhi would have been a "terrorist" held without trial in Gitmo.

The Bushies are all over the place denouncing the release of secret surveillance by the press. They claim that revealing such data shows our Hand to the terrorists.

These terrorists are smarter than Bush. They do not depend on the US press for their info on the surveillance of the Bushies. They have demonstrated that they have outsmarted Bush or else how do you explain how Osama and Zawahiri have eluded them. Even Zarqawi and Saddam were turned in by the Iraqis, They were not Bush finds.

Besides, what is wrong with telling the terrorists that we have tightened up our security? Don't we have stickers on the doors of our houses warning thieves that our houses are alarmed?

So all this complaining by Bush, Chertoff and Co, about the NYT article on money trails is balloney. They are trying to cover up their sinister motives of spying on Americans and to pre-empt any outcry against their autocratic behavior.
