on the other hand maybe they are trying to bring attention to the public to be observant of what is going on in your neighborhood..

it was a neighbor from what i heard that put the local police, fbi in the strange actions of this group.

these are not kids.. one guy was 31 years old, others in twenties?

Its easy to say i am bored with this stuff, are this is not serious,, i wonder if not discovered what would have been their target? Would it have not been boring after they bombed a building? Would the newspaper's front page be saying Bush adm has not kept us safe?

Its almost as though they want us to be afraid, I don't know.

I got a kick out of your "almost."

You don't have to be cynical to think that bureaucrats love to tout this type of success in order to prove they're worthy, since there's really not many other ways to prove they're doing a good job.

And I am sure you recall that Cheney, et al., take the position that you should vote for Republicans because Republicans keep you safe and Democrats don't.

And then there's always the old "Wag the Dog" routine in order to boost sagging popularity ratings and distract attention.

But I wouldn't think you were too cynical if you connected stuff like this with fundraising, as it's time to shake the donation can again.
