Ahmadinejad's a populist and he's promised projects and money all over the country. So WHY are we rushing in to offer them light water reactors and freeer trade and everything else? Why don't we just say, "Hey you want to keep doing what you're doing with uranium, then that's your inalienable right, but we'll keep the sanctions on and we may tighten them if we even get a hint that you're producing bomb grade material." They have a GIGANTIC youth population and that's the kind of population that overthrows governments. It seems that what we're doing now is offering them an out from their financial difficulties and allowing Ahmadinejad to proclaim a victory which will keep him and the Mullahs in power.
