Elroy... if they don't have one, then they've got everybody believing they have one, so they've already got that leverage.

If they DO have one and do a test then they've created this big scene which gets everybody up in arms (especially the Japanese) and that's not gonna do them much good.

N. Korea is playing a chess match. As long as they're playing chess then things will be O.K.

But IF something happens to Lil' Kim and the military takes power, then it could be all bets are off. If I were president I'd have as many talks as possible with those guys. Clinton sent Albright over there and the N. Koreans seemed to take it as a sign of respect. I think there were possibilties there.

Bush treats countries like they are disobeying children. I don't think that's the best way to go in international diplomacy.
