Since they won't be announced be so kind as to let us know when the last throes arrive.

Can't trust Cheney to give us an accurate assessment on the "throes"

It works that way wherever the insurgents have been beaten. Heard any reports from Mosul lately?

Yeah...this one:

At Least 25 People Found Executed in Mosul

LOL! Remember that Darth Cheney once said that Iraq was a "remarkable success". Later the same thug said the insurgency was in its "last throes" - the same insurgency that a year ago, Rummy said was a bunch of "dead enders".

Now Darth Cheney redefines "last throes" to who-knows-what. And you come spouting some "When the last throes do arrive..." nonsense. FU Cheney said they had arrived last year. What happened to that?

Joker Rummy and Liar Cheney are the "experts" on Iraq. And you are their spokesperson/defender/interpreter/supporter. Would have been really funny were it not so tragic! :-(

>>When the last throes do arrive, they will be reported from Iraq with silence, and the media will be reporting something other than Iraq entirely, the midterm elections or whatever catches their attention. The media will not mention that the insurgents are giving up, except to carp at whatever deal Maliki works out with the Sunni insurgents.

Therefore, you'll be able to deny that the last throes exist, since you won't have heard them reported.

It works that way wherever the insurgents have been beaten. Heard any reports from Mosul lately? Last year, we heard a bunch of them. Then... silence.<<

Nadine -

Others have already pointed out that you're wrong about Mosul. You are also wrong about the media. What are they supposed to report on? If four bombs go off in Baghdad, and no bombs go off in Mosul, would it be good reporting to ignore the explosions and report that Mosul was quiet?

No. That's not the way news works.
