Murtha says U.S. poses top threat to world peace

And this is going to win the Democrats the November elections??

Geezus!! What a way to capture the disgust of the American voter. They may not be happy with how things are going in Iraq, but they are a LONG WAY from accepting such BS from the Democrats, war hero or not.

It's like some of the Democrats recommended that we target that N. Korean missile with Tomahawks in order to destroy it on its launching pad (which would constitute a DIRECT ATTACK upon the N. Korean homeland).

Now maybe shooting it down over international waters, and especially if its flight path crosses another sovereign nation, might be a viable option that would muddy whether it constitutes an attack on N. Korea, or a defensive act.

But for William Perry, Clinton's SecDef, to recommend a direct strike upon N. Korea is reckless and would absolutely play into Kim Jong Il's hands.

If this stuff is the best the strategic options (and opinion) that the Democrats can muster, they are going to have a hard time winning the election. The Republicans will tear them apart..
