Jack boots will probably never come back in style. Todays power hungry crooks need to be more calculated. The Hitler model was not sustainable. The Neocon model's stated goal is the same as Hitler's goal of taking over the world. Like Hitler, a major part of the Neocon's stated method is through the projection of military power. They even said that in order to do that...we'd need another Pearl Harbor. Ever the opportunists, the Neocons saw 9-11 (another Pearl Harbor) as the opening to get into the Middle East and take out Saddam. It's all according to the stated goals and plans. One cannot deny that. They wrote the plans down and shared it openly. The Neocons were smarter than Hitler in many ways. But I think that their grandiose plans of taking control of the Middle East will cost a lot more blood and treasure than they ever dreamed. Remember they said the oil would pay for the war. Will the Neocons continue to spill blood and spend treasure to secure Iraq under the Neocon umbrella? Only the 2006 and 2008 elections stand in the way. These elections are in grave danger of being stolen, or "Diebolded" as recently coined. Time will tell. What will be the direction of the greatest nation in the world? Will we lead by example? Or will we lead with fixed bayonet? Get out there and make sure that your local elections are clean. Then make sure your neighbor's elections are clean. Then vote anti-Bush and anti-republican.
