Remove the Jews from Israel and the Palestinian plight would only worsen, but they would not have scape goats for their failures. Inept and fruitless political groups and ideologies seldom look inward for obvious answers to their problems.

Your post simply shows your bias. Arabs bad – us good. My point is that it is ugly on both sides. Yes the US and Israeli’s do real ugly things too. The USA has to be vigilant that it doesn't slide down a slippery slope to barbarism simply and because it is the most powerful and influential country on earth. Sure 9/11 was a very underhanded move but all Cheney and Bush have done is sink to the same level. Cheney and Bush have shamed the USA with their secret prisons, torture and holding people without charge. Invading a country (even Iraq) on BS reasons - to me that’s what the bad guys do. That’s why we are supposed to hate Saddam. The War on Terror should be fought in a totally ethical manner beyond criticism because the USA is the good guys - the righteous guys. Unfortunately we have de-humanized the Arabs to the point that whatever we do to them is OK. The Germans dehumanized the Jews in WW II prior to their despicable acts - I just hope we aren’t going down the same road with Muslims.
