War heros Rangel, Bonior, Harkin are all major liberal leaders.

War hero Kerry is more of a centrist but Bushies called him "the most liberal in congress" in 2004, a total lie of course, like everything else Bushies said about Kerry.

Not a single major rightwing leader has ever served in combat. None. Zero. Worse, most of them intentionally dodged the war and lied about it.

Air America's Randy Rhodes is also a combat veteran.
Since this is the "slander Air America" thread let's also look at major radio figures. Rhodes is certainly leftwing and she has the primetime show on AA.
