how would Murtha know? The only "crime" that committed in connection with Haditha is going to be the release of information about it illegally by the Commandant of the Marine Corp, General MW Hagee. He is the one that briefed Murtha before the facts were in, contrary to regs. The question now is, will the Corps cover up Hagee's error by filing charges against the marines? If they do, the marines will get off, but the publicity will be very bad for the Corp. If they don't file charges, the MSM and the international left will scream "coverup!" And Hagee will retire under a cloud.

If this is true, then EVERY person who lied about the Marines "killing in cold blood" and EVERY media who repeated the so called "news" should be held to account. Give them their day in court. Very little is said about our soldier (and soldiers) who have been killed by IED's....WHERE is the media and Murtha on those newsworthy happenings??? Two items are standouts from the article you posted, Andrew....I'm sure the Military will get to the bottom of the events, and tell us what happened. The entire action was followed by the UAV overhead. Last May, when Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., appeared on "Good Morning America," he accused the Marines of K Company of killing innocent civilians in "cold blood" and that the killings were covered up by higher officers. The Bargewell report has disproved that allegation and with the NCIS investigation so far incomplete, and no soldier has been charged with a crime, how would Murtha know?
