"Like I said: if you are unsure of 'intent' or 'meaning'... just ask." The point you are missing is that sometimes there is no doubt of the meaning, even if the doubtless assumption is wrong. That is why I point out that IF you want to be understood accurately, at least factor in the point being made in the post you are responding too. Because people DO factor in context. I am not overly worried about whether I understand the person accurately. But I would think the person would want his "point" to be understood. In this example you were not making a point, just an observation. Since I was making a point, and your observation was in contrast to my point, I assumed you were making one. Enough said on this. I will factor in what I have learned in this exchange when I read your posts. And note that I do ask if I am not sure.
