ALAN's buy of StarTrak

Just a little more info. on this deal.

ALAN will issue 13.2 million shares of ALAN stock to StarTrak and assume 5 millon in liability from StarTrak.

StarTrak is purported to bring 20mm in rev.s beginning July 1 for fiscal 07...that's a year out. The 2mm in profit from StarTrak is pre-tax...net/net will, of course, depend on write offs, deprication etc.

StarTrak will earn more shares of ALAN based on profit targets in 07 and 08.

So, I'll stick with my orginal assessment of the deal...it's more about StarTrak joining a NASD listed company, the press release is full of that very comment.
