Then why do most liberals who support gay marriage also say they support polygamy, while 99.9% of conservatives support monogamy? I'm a liberal because I believe that the Federal Government should keep it's nose out of the public primary and secondary school systems. If Democrats were in charge, I don't believe you'd care about either of these issues. And almost all of the others you listed. I'm a liberal because I believe that households shouldn't get tax breaks for having children. I agree - that does make you a liberal. All those redstate breeders getting those tax deductions probably does bother you. You're only a "conservative" because because conservatives believe in aggressively protecting the country and our civilization and liberals don't. Because conservatives believe in preserving our positive cultural and religious practices and ethical values, while liberals believe in belittling them and tearing them down. Because conservatives are generally pro-free enterprise and liberals are generally pro-socialism.
