Mine is the first post I've written since being back from an extended weekend, so where you get the idea that I am as you say "hot and bothered about some rusty old shells" is, well, curious.

I think I'll reserve my comments about the up coming election until is is over as my crystal ball broke years ago and I've never been good at predicting political outcomes. I do feel sorry for people I've heard say "when the democrats get the power back" yada yada. In fact if dems do manage to get a majority and a president elected I'm inclined to think it would be a very good thing to see how they fare at running this country. I think it would be a real wake up call and that some people might take a closer look at their positions and start making decisions based on a different criteria other than they bad, we good.

As for Santorum... I don't know him or his positions as he is not my representative and I'm focused on getting mine elected.

I do stand by my statement when I say I think it is very bizarre that someone would sort of laugh and sort of shake her head at this story, but sometimes people like to make politics out of anything they can grasp, even dangerous chemicals that can and have been used to kill humans.

But like I said.....that's just me.
