Peter...a LOT of extra stuff in there about the Joe Wilson thing. I always kinda think that alot of obfuscation in answer to a simple question means that the fellow answering doesn't have much of an answer. I would have to think that that was the case here.

Comeon, Peter...your evidence on an Iraq connection to Al Quaeda sounds like the Kevin Bacon 7 degrees of separation thing. Osama HATED Saddam and Saddam didn't want anything to do with fundamentalist "wildcards". Saddam only gave cash to Palestinian bombers so he'd stay on the good side of the fundamentalists. If Saddam hadn't gone into Kuwait....he would TODAY be our greatest ally other than Israel in the Middle East. Saddam gassed the Iranians and Reagan didn't even mention it.

Ex-CIA agents recently stated they told the White House 6 months before the invasion that Saddam had no WMD (except maybe a few old Mustard gas shells leftover from the 80's), no nuclear program and no connections with Al Qaida. The CIA was told to shut up about that. Cheney was the pointman in the administration's crusade to tltally lie to the American people, our military, the UN and congress in order to mislead us into a quagmire war which had nothing to do with The War On Terror and has made us weaker and less safe.
