As far as I know, Murtha was the only one who coined the phrase relating to the Marines in Haditha "killed in cold blood".... Ah, I see. So instead of twenty people saying "killed in cold blood it's twenty people saying that they killed in cold blood. got it. My parsing of your statements took the quotes to mean the reported use of those words, since that's what quotes signify. OK. Or do you think that Murtha can just say any lie he pleases about anyone he pleases with no consequence. ??? Of course not. But that wasn't your issue. You said "If this is true, then EVERY person who lied about the Marines "killing in cold blood" and EVERY media who repeated the so called "news" should be held to account. Give them their day in court." You spoke of holding the media accountable for publishing the "lies," not Murtha or the other twenty, which is why I questioned you about accountability for the MEDIA ("And what penalty would you apply to a news outlet...?"), a question to which you have not yet responded, BTW.
