Er, Scott... it's not an 'analogy' exactly, ('ridiculous' or otherwise...), to simply point out that: a trillion is what you get if you spend a million dollars a day ... for a million days.

Rumsfeld invaded Iraq on the cheap. He didn't plan for the aftermath. If he had, most of the infrastructure would likely have been saved and law and order maintained. But that's what you get when the president takes the advice of folks that don't know squat about war. The president should have been listening more closely to Powell and the analysts at the CIA.
