It's the will to suicide that has to be more fully developed in demanding societies in order to satisfy the need of the authority. Huxley said the individualist, if sufficiently rugged, would always come into contact with revenooers who did not like the way he drove his hot rod no matter whether the seals on the bottles were genuine or not.

Which brings us to vital questions that might be, if we are lucky, somewhat germane to a topic of interest of the stated intent of this thread. Do stock threads operate from self interest that is hypocritically disguised intentionally or no, or from group co-operation that must conflict with the aims of certain individuals? Is there a way to minimize losses by taking the advice of some or all individuals? Could the gains be maximized by publishing the success ratio of mentions, recos, etc.. of all individuals as a group, by type of reco, and/or all individually with type to max success? Can a group reco system be successful? How much? Is there a math to determine how to see this?
