So why did the NRA smear life-long hunter John Kerry who is also a military combat hero and expert marksman and side with non-gunny, non-soldier, non-hunter Bush? And where were they in terms of criticism when Cheney disobeyed common sense gun rules and shot his hunting partner in the face at close range? The NRA is a rightwing organization, above and beyond any issues pertaining to guns. And the BS story about how they train blacks how to use weapons is laughable. I'd like to see some non-NRA proof of that. The fact is, there are a few black members of the NRA, but there are many more white racists in the organization than blacks. Kind of like the GOP itself which the NRA always sides with.
