Just asked my husband, who's in the NRA, whether he's aware of any other constitutional challenges to the Domestic Violence gun ban act that are in the works, and he says he's not aware of any.

Without spending a really long time on this, it appears to me that every federal court of appeals has ruled that the law's constitutional, and, as everybody knows, the SCOTUS isn't likely to take a case unless there's a split in the circuits.

But to me the argument whether 2nd amendment rights are "collective or individual" makes no sense. Every Constitutional right is subject to limitations, including the right to bear arms. Otherwise, how could they ban gun possession by a convicted felon?

What's the diff? Someone convicted of domestic violence isn't really a criminal?
