You're understanding of the problem is just awesome. Why don't you write a book? You should go on the road - on a speaking tour. Who anyways cares about a few Innuit and some Polar Bears and their troubles?

Duh! Global warming cannot increase precipitation then?!

Where did you get your meteorological lessons from? Limbaugh? Was the chapter on Global Warming on the day he swallowed ten Viagra, instead of his customary half dozen?! ;-)

One effect of global warming is the increased precipitation in some areas, and droughts in others. This could result in floods some places and forest fires or famines in others.

Just as ironically, global warming is melting so many glaciers and icebergs it's cooling the polar oceans and the warm currents that flow northward from Africa and keep the north country relatively temperate. Those warmer ocean temperatures also sustain vast amounts of sea life and nutrients.

Time to stop defending polluters and getting serious about looking at cleaner, greener much more sustainable energy sources going forward. The evidence is in, despite Exxon's multi-million dollar propaganda operation which seeks to blur the truth and poo-poo science.
