considering Klimt's works bring some of the highest dollars in the art world, I would say your friend is a minority but, all art is relative google some of his work philistine and decide for yourself goggle will give you a hint - there is nothing like seeing the actual pieces I remember a Monet exhibit - the last room was huge, circled with 6 enormous [12 x 8] canvas's of his waterlilly series - lights dimmed, bench in middle - you were there, all encompassing feeling yummmmmmmm
