Israel should just officially declare the PA an enemy state (the Israeli Supreme Court already did) and cut all aid and diplomatic niceties. They want war? Fine, let them have their wish. Let Gaza get power and money from Egypt! I think Sharon would have done it. His technique was to maneuver for running room so that at each encounter, Israel had more options; wriggling out of the Oslo straighjacket Arafat had imposed on Israel.
