I'd rather have everyone held to a stricter standard. That includes high moral standards and high intellectual standards.

We'll all fall short, but hey, nobody is perfect. Besides, if the only sin is hypocrisy, then the most "righteous" guy out there is Larry Flynt.


Fake left, pass right, change the subject...this man spends hours a day purveying divisive rhetoric. He is the truest traitor of all...but of course he gets to have lunch at the WH with bush and rove just last week...what a country!

Yes we do. But the moralizers like Limbaugh take the stance that when someone does fall short, they are scum.

High standards should be set. When someone falls short, they should be helped and not crucified. On the other hand, if you advocate crucifiction, then that is what you deserve unless you show some degree of humility.
