Yes we have made progress on the environment in America. No thanks to Bush who has relaxed standards for clean air and water.

Automobile exhaust produces a whole host of pollutants. Catalytic converters help reduce emissions. CO2 is naturally occurring, of course. But what happens when you raise the level of CO2? I'm not making the argument that it does anything. Just asking the question.

Burning of fuels produces plenty of CO. When CO enters the atmosphere, two COs combines with one O2 making two CO2. This in combination with the reduction in plant life due to deforestation and urbanization increases the level of CO2.

Are you for clean air and water? If yes, then you should support making strides to be in compliance with Kyoto.
