A for instance....

During WWII planning for the invasion of Europe there was debate as to whether to attack across the Pas de Calais or in Normandy....the conventional thinking was that since Normandy was more remote, rugged and inhospitable to landings that casualties might be higher than a Calais landing; those who supported the Normandy landings argued for the element of surprise....

Suppose a newspaper reporter disagreed with the Normandy strategy of our military leaders and wanted to prevent such a landing by exposing the strategy.....????

What do you think would have happened to that paper and reporter?

J.
