So it must be particularly wrong. I cannot think of a scientific theory which in time has not been shown to be wrong. I believe that a conspiracy of international mining consortiums have released increasing amount of *phlogiston* by excavation activities which are heating the planet in an unseemly way. All these holes in the ground could be put to use providing caloric phlogiston, which emanating from the cooling crustal rocks, should provide energy for the planet's users. The trick is to make take the heat and elevate the temperature so that the phlogiston can be used at an increasing rate. EC<:-}
