Bush-Cheney were told before the invasion there were no WMD, no Al Qaida connections and that basically Saddam was no real threat. Instead of telling us that, they lied to congress, the UN and the Amerian People and went ahead with the Iraq invasion anyway, without any plan for what to do once we got there. If they had cared about facts instead of their preconceived ideas, they would have noticed that Iran and Saudi Arabia, as well as Pakistan were where Al Qaida, not Iraq. And they would have finished the job in Afghanistan which went well up util the time they moved counter-terrorism resources from Afghanistan to Iraq. And three years later we have a total counter-productive mess in the Middle East as a whole. Plus, our military is so exhausted we couldn't fight anywhere else for long if we had to. This is the worst and most dishonest administration for national defense and a host of other issues that we have ever had. The sooner we replace them with honest, common sense leaders the better because it is DRAGGING THIS COUNTRY DOWN.
