I don't have many concerns about human survival. Our population is growing at a great rate, and we are displacing other life forms from almost every niche. If you tell me that warming is bad for the human species, I'll applaud it, because to a first approximation what's bad for us is good for just about everything else (excluding farmed species and fellow travellers like rats and cockroaches).
