Bushies are chockful of corrupt ex-politicos and staffers like pigs at the trough of our current rightwing congress and White House. It is worse than it has ever been. And they refuse to police themselves. This Jerry Lewis (R) head of the Appropriations Commiitte is anothe grossly corrupt bandit literally stealing billions of our money as the rightwing pundits point their fingers at lone wolf Jefferson, who accepted a $90,000 bribe. What about the $90,000,000 in glorified bribes Big Oil, big HMO-Pharmas and other corporate gfroups have given the rightwing GOP in order for permission to rip us all off for a trillion bucks since 2001?

I KNOW it benefits the "employers", but I don't think it benefits the NATION. Most of these guys are just lawyers spouting out the stuff that their staffers explain to them. You can't tell me that being in congress for 10 years makes you a "real" authority on the cost/benefit analysis of the latest weapons system. I know it might not pass "judicial review", but I ALSO know that a guy with a history/law degree ain't hired by a defense contractor because of his engineering acumen.
