CJ, Because they benefit an awful lot from having a stable country

Everyone benefits from having a stable country. Everyone also benefits if we went back to Kennedy's original idea of "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

When 80% of the country feels entitled to what 20% of the country already has, that's the beginnings of a communism.
