"So what's the big deal.
we all know it started somehow."

The deal, whether big or not, is that this 'knowing' is evidence to something. This 'knowing' is something you seem to be declaring as universally self evident among human beings. The evidence is, if the universe started somehow, and the 'how' is outside the parameters of physics, then the how may help to account for other things that lie beyond the parameters of physical science; ideas for example.

Ideas can be an aspect of the physical universe without requiring a physical component. Sort of like being in it but not of it. This is evidence to living brain process and a mind that is not limited to the physics of brain processes. There is a great deal of evidence to non-physical mind once you allow your self to peer out of the lab. [Gem observes TP pulling the hood of his lab cloak over his eyes, in prep for a quick exit]

On the contrary the difference to existence and experience is dramatic.
