Was discussed yesterday on the thread a bit....but I have not had a chance to read the full opinion yet.

Remember..be careful what you ask for. If those evil democrats ever get back into power in state legislatures of certain states, they can now legally use the same methods to minimize the impact of Republican districts. Some analysis of this has been done and right not New York, Illinois and a few other states offer such an opportunity. Could be more in a few years. Somehow mid-decade gerrymandering seems like a devil's bargain for either party...but it appears the cat is out of the bag on the issue.
